La Serra del Catllaràs is our most important natural space and it was declared Protected Natural Area in 1992.

It is characterised by wonderful beech, oak, pine and holly forests and it is the natural habitat of some species as the capercaillie, the black woodpecker, the wild board and the deer.

The Sanctuary of Falgars is located in the middle.

It is an expression of culture, nature, history and leisure. Joanet and Marc, two characters that you will meet in different places of the region, are icons of these values. The nearest point is Mirador de Joan Casanova, a viewpoint next to the Sanctuary.
