Hiking
In La Pobla de Lillet there is an extensive path network that will allow you discover wonderful natural spots and places of great natural and historical interest.
All the paths are indicated by vertical and continuity signs.
We recommend you to download the brochure and choose your route.
Following our path network we recommend you some of them.
Volta al Catllaràs
Catllaràs is maybe one of the least known mountains in Berguedà, but also one of the most interesting. This route will lead you to the north side, where you will discover places like the Xalet del Catllaràs, the Mirador del Roc de La Lluna or Falgars.

Route of Castell de Lillet
This itinerary starts just behind the town hall building.
We must walk towards Coromines quarter and at Sant Antoni chapel we will turn left on PR-C52 path, until the Monastery of Santa Mª de Lillet, canonical of great historical and architectural value. If you wish to visit the Monastery or the Rotunda, you should visit the tourist office in La Pobla de Lillet before starting the route.
We will continue along PR-C52 towards the Rotunda of Sant Miquel, a small Romanesque church with circular plan. Walking on the same path we will reach the feet of the Roca del Castell (Rock of the Castle).
We will leave the path and climb to the top of the Rock, where we will enjoy a beatiful view of the valley.
On the 11th September, Catalonia’s National Day, the inhabitants of La Pobla come here to raise the flag that waves all year round. El Castell de la Vila is the former place of residence of feudal lords of the valley, Mr Ponç de Lillet, before the arrival of Mataplana family and La Pobla founding. After going down of the Roca del Castell and located again on the PR-C52 path, we will take the Nº 1610 trail.
We will follow this trail until we find the sign of path nº 1603 to come back to La Pobla de Lillet.

We suggest a walk to visit the fountains of La Pobla de Lillet.
Circular routes
To Falgars passing by the grotto
This itinerary starts just behind the town hall building.
We will walk along GR 4 until the crossing with PR-C11. At that point, we will leave the GR 4 and continue along PR-C11. This path lead to the grotto of the Virgin of Falgars. By following the same path you will reach the Sanctuary of Falgars.
Although the return to La Pobla can be done by undoing the path, we propose to come back by GR-4. This part of the trail from Falgars to la Pobla is known as “camí dels graus2 and was used when people went to Falgars in procession. The places corresponding to the different graus were used to stop and recover energy.
Before leaving the Sanctuary of Falgars and starting the return way, we suggest you to admire the views from Mirador Joan Casanova and visit the Sanctuary.

La Pobla de Lillet – Xalet del Catllaràs – Serrat Pinós
This itinerary starts just behind the town hall building.
We will walk towards Coromines quarter until Sant Antoni chapel. We will leave the paved street and take the path on the right, signalised with Nº 1603.
We will follow this trail until arriving to Serra Pigota, at the crossing with PR-C52. We will continue on PR-C52 direction to Xalet del Catllaràs.
A few metres away from Xalet del Catllaràs, you will find the signalisation of path 1609 that will bring you back to la Pobla. However, we recommend you to approach the Xalet and take a look at this modernist building designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí at the beginning of the 20th century.
To return to la Pobla we will follow the path 1609, until the crossing with GR-4. By following the GR-4, we will reach our destination.

El Mirador del Roc de la Lluna and Falgars
This itinerary starts just behind the town hall building.
We will walk towards Coromines quarter until the chapel of Sant Antoni. We will take the path on the left, the PR-C52 until the Monastery of Santa Mª de Lillet, canonical of great historical and architectural value. If you wish to visit the Monastery or the Rotunda, you should go to the tourist office in La Pobla de Lillet before starting the route.
We will continue along PR-C52 towards the Rotunda of Sant Miquel, a small Romanesque church with circular plan. Walking on the same path we will reach the feet of the Roca del Castell (Rock of the Castle).
If you wish you can climb up to the top of the rock, where you will enjoy a beatiful view of the valley. It is the ancient site of feudal lords of the valley, before the arrival of Mataplana family and La Pobla founding.

We will follow the path until the crossing with the trail to Mirador del Roc de La Lluna. We recommend you to approach the viewpoint and enjoy the beautiful views of this area.
We will follow PR-C52 until Prat Gespador, where we will find the PR-C11 signals. We will follow this trail until Falgars. Once you arrive to Falgars, we recommend you to visit the Sanctuary and Mirador Joan Casanova.
We will follow the PR-C11 to return to La Pobla. If you wish, you can also return by GR-4. Both will bring you back to the start point, but PR-C11 passes by the grotto where the Virgin of Falgars was found.
