House specialties: black peas, cannelloni, escudella, cream of ceps mushroom, veal with mushrooms,  meatballs with cuttlefish, rabbit with llanegues mushroom, rice with ceps mushroom, catalan sausage with ceps mushroom, deer civet and wild boar stew.

Cal Pericas offers hostel and restaurant services since 1856.

Recently refurbished, the restaurant offers a menu from Monday to Friday where you can choose between 4 or 5 first courses and 4 or 5 second dishes. During weekends, public holidays and August, the menu offers more options:  8 or 9 first courses and 8 or 9 second dishes. All the menus include dessert, bread, wine and water. There are also menu suggestions at your disposal, to taste the most prepared house specialties.

Our menus are varied and usually include salads, legumes, soups, creams and prepared dishes as cannelloni, stuffed aubergines or spinach crêpes with almond sauce.  As for second courses, options range from grilled meat to casseroles and also fresh fish and cod. All our desserts are also homemade.

Cal Pericas cuisine incorporates elements from catalan traditional cuisine, such as stews, mar i muntanya (sea and mountain), stir-fry, picada and also the grill. It is mainly provided with seasonal products, fresh and locally produced: coldmeats from La Pobla, country bread, black peas from Gósol, Berguedà’s meat and cheese, cottage cheese from La Quar, game meat, mushrooms and some vegetables. These are the main ingredients of our menus, suggestions and desserts, that change every day according to offer and availability.

We have long experience in group celebrations and banquets. We offer group menus according to different budgets and a wide range of finger food and main courses to elaborate tailored menus for every occasion. We also make personalized cakes on request. We have a ground floor restaurant , with a capacity for 80 people and a small dining room on the first floor, with capacity for 20 people, perfect for family celebrations.
